In the mind-numbing heat of Athens in July, here in the heart of Europe's hottest capital (temperature-wise...) the permanent home of Athens Aikido is about to be born.
After a solid year of negotiating the merciless labyrinth of Greek bureaucracy we finally have all the paperwork in order, the electricity switched on and the water flowing (quite literally dripping from the old toilet fixtures) and we are ready to move to phase two.
CONSTRUCTION! Thanks to your amazing response to our fundraiser we are close to raising 18,000 euros, nearly two thirds of the total needed to build our new dojo.
